Go over A+ essay examples for both Characters
Homework: Write the essay for the character that you did NOT previously write on (Pandora OR Prometheus)
Essential Question: Characterize of one of the characters in the story. What kind of a person are they? Compare this character to someone you know. How do they relate? How do they portray the same attributes? What does this illustrate about people across time and cultural contexts?
Step 1. Create a characterization chart for your one of the characters in the story. Give 3 quotes of textual evidence in a T-chart, with 3 commentaries. (CD/CM T-chart)
Step 2. Write a characterization paragraph using your T-chart and following the format: TS. CD. CM. CD. CM. CD. CM. CS. (paragraph 1)
Step 3. Write a Paragraph comparing the character to someone you know/famous person from modern day (paragraph 2)
Step 4. Write a paragraph comparing humans across time and contexts (paragraph 3)
